Here's everything you need to know...

Can I bring food and drink into the campsite field?

You can bring food and drink into the campsite field – including alcohol, but no glass please.

Can I bring food and drink into the main festival field?

Food and drinks can be bought in but, due to our licensing, you cannot bring alcoholic drinks in. We have a fully stocked bar available with lager, cider, spirits, wine and soft drinks. The bar will close at 2am. There are a variety of catering stalls serving hot drinks and a variety of different food options.

Will there be parking available for day visitors? Do I need to pay?

There is free parking available.

Can we bring BBQ’s / fire pits / stoves?

Yes you can bring the above – please make sure they are raised from the ground.

What time will the field be open to the public on Thursday to set up camp?

From 10am.

I can no longer come, can I get a refund?

Sorry there will be no refunds unless the event is cancelled.

What time will the music field be open and when will the music start?

The music field opens to campers and day visitors at 12 midday on Thursday, 9:30am on Friday and 8:30am on Saturday. See our schedule for set times.

What toilet and shower facilities will be available?

Running water will be made available around the site. Showers will be available between 6am-11pm, free of charge. We will have a designated area to dispose of chemical toilet waste. You will need to ask a steward on arrival where this is located.

Is there a deadline to purchase camping tickets?

The deadline for purchasing camping tickets is 23:59 Friday 24th May.

Am I able to swap or upgrade my tickets?

You have until Tuesday to swap or upgrade your day tickets. No refunds are provided unless the event is cancelled.

I have lost my tickets – what do I do?

Please message us with the name the tickets were booked under and we can resend them.

Can I purchase tickets on the gate at the festival?

Yes, but it is at least £5 cheaper to purchase online depending on the type of ticket you need. Buy tickets here: https://www.tickettailor.com/.../festivalonthehills/983184

Can I park next to my tent?

Yes – you can park next to your tent.

Do you offer electric hook ups?

We do not offer electric hook ups.

Is the festival dog friendly?

Yes – Festival on the Hills is a dog-friendly event.

If we are camping, when do we need to be offsite?

Please exit the campsite by Sunday morning.

What will accessibility be like for wheelchair and mobility scooter users?

We will have disabled toilets and parking available. The showground itself benefits from many flat sweeping areas, however, there will be areas that may have ruts and uneven surfaces. We will have several stewards on hand who will help you get where you need to be throughout the festival. There will be disabled parking, please bring your blue badge on arrival.

What footwear and clothing will we require?

Please be prepared for all weather possibilities! Appropriate footwear for both wet and dry weather is essential. We will be keeping a regular eye on the weather forecast as we get closer to the event and do our utmost to make the event as accessible as possible for all.

I’m a trader, what time can I arrive?

Please set up from 9am Wednesday 29th May. Wristbands will be given to you on arrival

Can children attend unaccompanied?

Children under 18 need to be accompanied by a responsible adult or they will be refused entry. No refunds will be given.

Please also be wary of scammers trying to sell tickets in the comments or through other social media pages. This is the only official Festival on the Hills page, and we will not be creating any other pages to provide festival updates and ticket links. Please watch out for fake pages.
